Systems Administrator



We have a position available for an experienced Systems Administrator looking for an opportunity to join the Network Operations Team managing a growing 24 X 7 financial transaction processing production environment.

The Systems Administrator for MS Windows / AIX systems will be responsible for providing outstanding operational support including effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance (including after hours and emergency support) of the Threshold systems hardware and software, and related infrastructure. You will also plan, design, and implement security measures to safeguard access to enterprise computing resources and data elements by setting standards and establishing best practices, conducting risk assessments and performing regular security audits, using a variety of approved methodologies, in test and production environments.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum two to five years hands-on experience in MS Active Directory Administration and supporting AIX /UNIX systems, knowledge of security industry best practices and standards, specifically ISO 17799, and related post secondary education or equivalent work experience. Experience with SAN administration and IBM pSeries Hardware support would be an asset.
