System Operator

The System Operator role provides knowledgeable expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting ABM communication and system outages issues, for Threshold's mission critical systems. The System Operator is responsible for actively monitoring the state of health of various platforms within the environment using the ticketing and monitoring tools provided, and reacting to alerts triggered by those systems.

The System Operator:
- Liaises with vendors, ABM technicians, and the IST department,
  to provide first level support of system incidents
- Manages issues through to resolution, using Threshold's ticket tracking system
  and incident management processes
- Provides ABM remote management services to Threshold's ABM network
- Provides incident related communications to external and internal contacts
  and maintain accurate records of all incidents
- Is customer service focused and loves a fast paced environment
- Has working knowledge of telecommunications and networking protocols (TCP/IP)
  and client/server computing platforms
- Is willing to work the night shift
